CS3 to co-sponsor Symposium on ‘Risk, Uncertainty and Sustainable Innovation: New Perspectives on Emerging Challenges,” convened by the Risk Science Center at the University of Michigan’s School of Public Health, Ann Arbor, MI, September 20-21, 2011. CS3 is convening a panel at the symposium titled “Ubiquitous Monitoring and Risk: Implications for Public Health and Sustainability.” Videos of all presentations and panel discussions from the symposium are now freely viewable online at: videos of all presentations and panel discussions.
Organized by the University of Michigan Risk Science Center, UM Risk Science Center, with generous support from the Bernstein Fund and other sponsors, the symposium provided a unique cross-sector and cross-disciplinary forum for exploring how new approaches to health risk and technology innovation can more effectively support sustainable development in today’s increasingly complex and interconnected world.
